Add Spice with Tomato Soup


A stylish and quick soup recipe, which would add taste to your course.




You require (for 4 bowls):

1)      8 big or medium-sized tomatoes (red and pulpy)
2)      2 apples
3)      Ginger
4)      Sweet corn
5)      Butter
6)      Fresh coriander leaves
7)      Bread
8)      Vegetable oil

Steps:
    1)      Cut and peel off the apples and a small piece of ginger to put them in cooker with     thoroughly washed tomatoes and a small quantity of water (roughly half glass)

    2)      Allow the mixture to boil for one whistle. Turn off the gas knob.

    3)      After 5 minutes, remove the lid, and allow the temperature to set down.

    4)      Meanwhile:
- Let a small quantity of sweet corn (50-100 gms) boil in a separate utensil
- Take a pan, and put adequate quantity of vegetable oil
- Put on the burner
- As the white fumes start emerging from the hot oil, put the small bread crumbs (2-3 breads) into the pan.
- It would hardly take 2 minutes to fry..
- Collect them in a bowl.
- Get the washed coriander also ready.

    5)      Grind the boiled mixture of the cooker now in a mixer.

    6)      Filter it in a pan with the help of a sieve.

    7)      Put the pan under flame and add 3 spoons of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt, a pinch of black pepper              and red chilli powder.

    8)      Allow the broth to take red colour with fine lather on the surface.

    9)      Set off the knob and pour the hot soup in ceramic/glass bowls

   10)    Put the boiled sweet corn, the fried bread crumbs, a piece of butter and sprinkle the coriander over it.


The hot soup ready to be served is not just delicious but presentable as well.
